In general, the Stonewall Dutch is a very fighting defense that suits to aggressive players, in the first turn. Since the centre is usually closed, it gives free hand to Black to attack the enemy king as a chance emerges. The opening is especially good for club players who don't have grandmaster defense skills, so White cannot often resist much to attacking assaults by Black. IM Andrew Martin is well-known for his wonderful teaching abilities and here as well he is explaining the subtleties of the opening in a very simple language making even the hardest things very understandable and clear. It helped me to understand the opening and I must say I am not the wittiest guy in the world, so it will help you as much and much more! Highly recommended!
