This is an excellent DVD. Martin is very pleasant to listen to. He covers Black defenses against the KIA including the French, Caro-Kann, and Sicilian. He also shows a few lines in which you should not play the KIA on autopilot and instead put your pieces on different squares. eg. not fianchetto the King bishop. I am becoming addicted to these DVDs. What I did not like in the DVD was the lack of coverage against the Caro-Kann and Sicilian. There is only one game against the Caro-Kann in which Martin feels the KIA is not effective. He does not offer another line. There are only a few games illustrating the Sicilian. He does cover the Botvinnik variation in the last game but I would have liked to see more. This is a good DVD and I recommend it for the KIA. A great compliment to Davies' DVD. Martin says this is an introductory DVD to the KIA. I hope he comes out with another DVD with more advance KIA ideas and more coverage of the Sicilian.
